Principal, Wealth Management Practice Leader

Paul has been committed to providing adept, attentive service to his clients since joining REDW Wealth in 2008. His experience ranges from working with individual clients to large institutions. Paul acts as an investment consultant with nonprofits and with Native American tribes by providing investment management services, assistance with investment policies, asset allocation design, reviews of investment providers, and trainings on investments and fiduciary responsibilities.

In addition, Paul’s activities include research, investment analysis, portfolio management, providing client service and conducting seminars. As a Principal and former Chief Investment Officer, Paul is a voting member of the REDW Wealth Investment Committee and helps lead the investment process.


Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Business, with a major in Financial Management and minor in Economics


Paul is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of New Mexico, as well as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. He has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst® (AIFA®) designation, awarded by Fi360, which signifies the ability to perform fiduciary assessments that measure how well investment fiduciaries are fulfilling their duties to a defined standard of care.


Paul frequently holds educational seminars for clients and the general public on a range of investment topics and is a regular speaker at REDW’s annual Tribal Finance & Leadership Conference.


Because of his interest in educating the public in the field of finance, Paul provides financial education to students at the University of New Mexico and various local organizations. Paul is a lifetime member of Leadership New Mexico and a graduate of the Leadership New Mexico Core Class of 2019. He is also a graduate of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Albuquerque Class of 2016. He currently serves as a board member for the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Business Foundation and a board member for the Full Life Foundation.
